Dear JVians, it is my great pleasure to address you as you progress in each step of your life journey by putting confidence in you, trusting your parents and teachers and surrendering yourselves in the hands of the almighty God along with your parents. Jyoti Vidyalaya plays one of the major roles to mould you and shape you, as you are today. I am sure the knowledge you gain, the values you imbibe, the feelings of oneness and solidarity you experience here will surely help you for a bright future. ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ Keeping this thought in mind, and with confidence in our Lord and Saviour, I pen this message.

Every day the sun rises is a new beginning, and that’s a reason to be excited! But change and new beginnings can also be scary. When you’re approaching a new situation, it can be helpful to reflect on the new opportunity you’re facing. You can start anew at any given moment. Life is just the passage of time and it’s up to you to pass it as you please. God is so good to give us new days and New Years since He knows we need so many times to start over. Every day is a chance to begin again. Don’t focus on the failures of yesterday, start today with positive thoughts and expectations. When we love and believe in something from the bottom of our soul, we feel strongly with a certainty that nothing can conquer our faith. This strange force helps us to make the right decisions at the right time. May we never lose our enthusiasm at any moment, as it is our greatest strength. It’s the storms that bring the rain to help us to grow and heal. Hope is a bridge that keeps healing alive.

I am deeply indebted to all of you, my dear students, teachers, non-teaching staff, supporting staff, parents and everyone else who work for the betterment of this institution and the society at large. May God bless you and your loved ones with good health always. As we forge ahead in our incessant pursuit of excellence, we envisage opening new vistas in the area of education. “It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure, He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He causes me to stand on the heights”.
